UFO Phenomenon, Space Aliens and Film making Technology.

UFO phenomenon, space aliens and film making technology are interesting to me. I have been watching documentaries on UFO phenomenon and space aliens lately. It is an interesting topic if you are a believer or nonbeliever that extraterrestrial life exists and has visited this planet. There is excellent entertainment based on the subject of alien abduction and invasion. Orson Welles caused panic and hysteria with The War of the Worlds radio drama he narrated and directed as an adaptation of H.G. Wells’ novel in 1938. Steven Spielberg thrilled movie audiences with Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

The whole space alien and UFO phenomenon for whatever reason got me to thinking about the film making process. Movie production technology keeps getting better each year. It is almost like science fiction reality when you look back at the history of cinema. Nowadays people can shoot an entire feature film with their iPhone, edit it on their computer, and stream it on social networks to millions of viewers across the globe.

The only downside to this freedom to create movies is sometimes we as filmmakers depend too much on the film and editing equipment we are using and neglect the basic core of entertainment – telling a good story. I caught myself recently getting too distracted by which camera to rent to shoot Internet Predator. We are only at the budgeting stage of production, but I am already thinking RED is the only family of digital cameras we should be using. I caught RED fever.

The Pain of Body Piercing

If you are a teenager that wants to get her belly pierced and your parents don’t understand, then you may have heard the comment that belly button rings are trashy. But with the popularity of body piercings and a variety of body bling available is it time for that outdated notion to be put to rest?

This is a question that has been asked and answered by many people of all ages. There seems to be an ongoing debate about the morality or intent of a woman that decides to express herself through a belly piercing. The type of belly button rings available range from very classy, to very cute, to very suggestive. But that could be viewed as very subjective. After all, not every woman is the same – and I don’t think that we would want it that way anyhow.

Some argue that the choice to wear belly button rings, get a nose piercing, or get multiple ear piercings is simply a statement of style and individuality much like the choice between wearing tennis shoes or thick soled boots. This camp would argue that there is as much harm in belly button rings as there is in choosing a hot pink tank top versus a conservative white blouse.

On the other side of the coin, belly button rings are seen as a sexual piercing whose only intent is to focus attention on one of the most sensual parts of a woman’s body, the stomach. By extension, these people believe that if a woman gets a belly piercing they are only doing it in order to attract more sexual mates.

For those that see no harm in belly button rings or other body piercings, they would argue that opponents of this type of self expression are simply motivated by fear. But this is not really new. Every generation has had a debate over what is considered “good” and “bad”. Remember, rock and roll was seen as “bad” by generations of the past, but it is still well and alive today.

Perhaps the best advice for a young woman considering getting belly button rings comes from this young lady, “Not everyone is going to think the same. If you don’t feel trashy then forget about what everyone else says. You know who you are…express it!”

Discover the Types of Animation System.

Computer animation is a branch of study in the area of computer graphics and animation technologies. It is a creative field that involves creating moving images (individual characters or real-life scenarios or both) by using various software and other animation tools. All these images are normally created on a computer and then can be converted into movies for big screen shows. Cartoons and animation pictures are an apt example of computer animation. 3-D animation that involves the use of three-dimensional effects is widely preferred. It makes the animated image look as natural as a real-life image.

It is divided into two broad categories, computer-generated animation and computer-assisted animation. In the former category, the animation is solely created on a computer system. In another type, an already created animation is computerized by adding various effects.

There are many different types that have their own distinctive features and characteristics. Scripting Systems are one of the oldest systems of such technology that focus on controlling movement of images. The animator had to identify and code very movement depicted in the storyboard for the animation. Thus, knowing this computer language was a prerequisite for every aspiring animator.

One of the popular scripting systems was ASAS (Actor Script Animation Language). The system introduced the concept of an actor. Every actor is an object that has its own animation rules. For example, the object ‘car’ is an object. It has an in-built coding that makes its wheel rotate in tandem while showing a moving image of the car. This reduces the effort to a great extent that now needs to focus on adding such obvious details.
